Abstract Conducting displacement‐controlled fatigue double cantilever beam tests of a structural acrylic adhesive, two different slopes were observed in the crack growth (FCG) relationship FCG rate versus strain energy release (SERR) parameters depending on loading conditions. Because is two‐parameter problem where stress waveforms contain cyclic and monotonic terms, contribution each term toward needs to be clarified. Therefore, slope was explained using SERR with load range mean load. In addition, cases changed an increasing number cycles. Accordingly, changes.
